Questions

How will your approach make us feel?

My work is for couples who want to experience their wedding fully, rather than perform it.

If trust, authenticity and storytelling matter more to you than controlling every image or following trends, we are likely aligned.

Do we need to pose on the wedding day?

My approach is fully documentary. On the wedding day, I observe and tell the story of what unfolds, I do not direct the day.

For couple portraits, I offer gentle guidance to create movement and connection. You don’t need to “know how to pose”. My role is to create a space where you can remain yourselves.

If constant direction or highly constructed images are essential to you, my work may not be the best fit.

Can we provide a shot list?

I don’t work from detailed shot lists. They tend to shift the focus away from what is genuinely happening.
Instead, I rely on anticipation, observation and instinct, allowing space for unplanned moments, often the most meaningful ones.

Can we share our inspirations?

Yes, and it is an important part of my process. You are welcome to share visual references, images, films, books, places, music or atmospheres that resonate with you.
Often, these inspirations go beyond weddings and speak about travel, cinema, culture or personal memories.

They are never used as templates to reproduce, but as a way for me to understand your world, your sensitivity and how you see things.

My role is not to recreate existing images, but to translate your story through my own gaze.

How important is aesthetics in your work?

Aesthetics are essential, but never decorative. My work is shaped by photography, cinema, fashion, architecture, travel and the places in which I work.
Each location brings its own light, rhythm and atmosphere, which actively influence the story being told.

The goal is always to connect aesthetics with lived experience, creating images that feel grounded, honest and deeply linked to their context.

Why photograph a wedding on film?

Film imposes a different rhythm and way of seeing. It slows things down. It requires attention, observation and choice. Each frame is intentional.

This is not about nostalgia or a visual effect, but about posture: accepting that not everything can be controlled, and trusting the moment as it unfolds.

Digital photography complements this approach by ensuring continuity and reliability during key moments. Both serve the narrative.

What about group photos?

They are never mandatory. If they matter to you, we plan them simply and efficiently so they remain fluid and never dominate the day.
If they don’t, we can keep them very limited or skip them entirely to leave more room for spontaneity.

How do you support us before the wedding?

Once the booking is confirmed, I will guide you step by step, without being intrusive. You will receive:

  • a detailed guide, with advice based on experience (organisation, timing, lighting, important moments),

  • a Pinterest moodboard, to share your inspirations,

  • a questionnaire and a planning meeting about a month before the wedding.

I will remain available by message if you have any doubts, questions or need advice. We will move forward together, but always at your pace.

What about travel?

I am based in the French Alps (very close to Italy and Switzerland, 3h from Paris and Provence), I travel throughout France and Europe. Travel costs are calculated transparently according to location and logistical requirements.

Are you comfortable with multicultural or international weddings?

Very much so. I work with couples whose stories often span multiple countries, languages and cultures.
This resonates deeply with my own background — being the daughter of a Mexican mother and a Spanish father, born and raised in France.

I move naturally between cultures and languages, paying close attention to family dynamics, rituals and what is unfolding between people.

Can you help us organize photography from abroad?

Absolutely. Many of the couples I work with are planning their destination wedding in Europe from another country.

From our very first exchanges, I ensure that everything related to photography is clear, fluid and well-organized, even from a distance. We communicate through video calls, emails and shared documents, at a rhythm that suits you.

You will receive guidance based on experience, visual references, and practical advice to help you make confident decisions — without overwhelm.

My goal is simple: that on your wedding day, wherever you come from, photography feels effortless, familiar and fully taken care of.

How do we know if we are a good fit?

Before any booking, I always suggest a conversation, ideally by video call. This moment allows us to see whether my way of working, my gaze and your vision of the wedding feel aligned.
Choosing a wedding photographer is, above all, a matter of trust.
