I'm Caroline — a film and documentary wedding photographer, working across Provence, the Luberon and the Drôme Provençale. I grew up between France, Mexico and Spain, and that mix shaped the way I see: I'm drawn to light that doesn't ask to be corrected, to gestures that weren't staged for the camera, to weddings that carry more than one culture at once.

Every summer, I spend time around Gordes — it's become a kind of family ritual over the years, and there's a light there that always reminds me of Tuscany, another place that runs deep in my story.

Provence gave me some of my favourite light to work with — the gold of the stone in late afternoon, the particular stillness of a village square before a ceremony, the way evenings stretch on and on under plane trees. I shoot on analog film, sometimes paired with digital, always with a documentary eye: I'm there to notice what's actually happening, not to direct a version of it. The result sits somewhere between reportage and editorial — images built to be looked at slowly, years from now, not scrolled past once.

I work mostly with couples planning something non-traditional — elopements, intimate ceremonies, micro-weddings, or full celebrations that blend more than one language and more than one tradition in a single day. Couples who want their wedding to look and feel like them, not like a catalogue.

 

I speak English, French and Spanish, which means I can work comfortably with you, your families and your local vendors, whatever the mix of languages on the day.
